Cast Sintered

This process involves using a proprietary metal powder to cast around a master. After casting, the green part is then sintered to full density replicating the master with very high accuracy. The resulting tool has a hardness equivalent to P20 and many other desirable properties similar to a conventional tool. The master can be produced using various prototyping techniques or it can be produced at Harbec using techniques we have developed to decrease lead-time and increase accuracy.
