Electroforming

Electroforming is the process of replicating the surface of a master by plating directly over it. The proprietary plating material is applied until the desired thickness is achieved. When the plating is finished the master is removed. The remaining cavity block is back filled for strength and then mounted in a frame. The master can be produced by any method that will provide a final product that is electrically conductive.
