HARBEC’s injection molding equipment is 100% electric. By moving from hydraulic, we have increased quality (i.e., accuracy, repeatability and predictability) and productivity, and lowered our energy costs up to 50%. In addition, this shift in technology has improved the HARBEC work environment by significantly reducing noise and improving air quality.

After we’ve helped you to prove your prototype concepts and build your production tooling, we can also scale up quickly into full production.

Our closed loop injection molding process -— across 31 presses ranging from 55-440 tons — sets high standards for system efficiency, and part quality, with capacity that comfortably spans production volumes from a few thousand to more than a million.

The use of rigorous quality procedures, along with a history of working partnerships with customers and resin suppliers, means that all your design challenges are satisfied.

Throughout our injection process, we employ strict quality control, inspection and maintenance procedures. As a result, we have continually maintained our ISO 9000-2000 and ISO 14001 certifications. We use statistical process control and other quantitative techniques to ensure process and part reliability and efficiency.

Our ability to respond to requirements for zero defects and JIT deliveries has freed many of our customers from the burden of incoming inspection. We are proud to be an approved supplier to many large and small OEM’s in markets including, but not limited to, aerospace/defense, medical device, sports and leisure, electronics, telecommunications and automotive.
