Silicone Mold
Silicone molding is done by encapsulating a master with a room temperature
vulcanizing silicone and allowing it to cure. When the silicone is fully
cured, the master is removed leaving a cavity in the shape of the desired
part. This resulting mold can then be used to cast a large variety of
urethanes available in any color desired. The extensive list of existing
urethanes covers many desirable properties for prototype parts.
